The 1st Times Square AJ Jam vs. The Blizzard of 2006 The biggest storm in New York’s recorded history hit the day of the 1st Times Square AJ Jam. Larry Shaw, Jim (ajcol), Jason (iceman), aj package and website designer Alex, and Fabian (not that Fabian) jaxed for about an hour, but a number of players from the region who really wanted to make it weren’t able to get there. However, Times Square wasn’t empty and we got a whole lot of people playing with us. (How Alex was able to afford putting aj videos on the big screens in Times Square remains a mystery.) Eric "daUFO" is touring Malaysia where Astrojax has been launched just recently. For 2 weeks he's traveling the country and demoing Astrojax together with the young Malaysian AJ Team. They had a lot fun partying at one of the coolest clubs in Kuala Lumpur showing off the new Saturn Blue Diamond edition. Check out the latest pics from Malaysia. 18/11/2003 Astrojax Best Cutting Edge Toy 2003 Astrojax has received the Professionals Choice Award for "Best Cutting Edge Toy 2003" in South Africa. Congratulations also to Just Fun Toy our local distributor for the great work they are doing. 20/10/2003 Fun&Action Camp in the Swiss Alps This year's FUN & ACTION CAMP organized by Active People Switzerland was a roaring success again. 40 Kids and 5 coaches were training and playing together for a week. In different workshops they could improve their skills at Astrojax, Kiwido, Juggling or Diabolo and work on choreographies for the big show on Friday night. Astrojax was clearly the toy of choice this year. All wanted to win the Trick Check Ball and the Pin Popper (every Jaxer's tool) was in constant use until everyone had his own personalized Astrojax. Time flies when you're having fun and the week was over way too soon. The show on Friday night will be remembered for a long time though. For many it was the first time on stage. With great enthusiasm they delivered amazing performances and were rewarded with much applause from the audience. The new forum and aj-member section has been a great success since it's introduction in May. In June we had over 100'000 visitors to the Astrojax Website. And more exciting features are in the pipeline... 01/07/2003 Rate the coolest Player Profiles! aj-Members are now able to rate each other's player profiles. On a scale from 1 to 10 you can vote how interesting, funny or unique you think each profile is (you need to be logged in to do so). See impressions from the event. >>> 23/05/2003 aj WORLD CHALLENGE launched Germany and Switzerland are the first countries to run the new aj-WORLD CHALLENGE program. With different events on local and national level leading up to international events next year, aj-fans can finally get together to learn, exchange tricks, show off their skills and have a great time all together. A series of special edition aj balls has been designed exclusively for these events. The initial aj-SESSIONS are held at a limited number of aj-PRO Stores. Amongst the changes is a completely new Forum and Member section, designed to support more in depth conversations about Astrojax and related questions. The free membership allows access to the Forum and gives each aj Member his or her own player page where they can showcase their individual playing style and ideas about Astrojax. We also introduced a country switch which will allow more detailed localinformation. Further languages will be added gradually. 21/04/2003 Fabian and Toby starring in US TV Commercial Fabian and Toby just returned from New York where they went for the shooting of the US Astrojax commercial produced by Spinmaster. The Astrojax Cube drew a lot of attention with Eric "UFO" Bergmann and Jan showing the latest secrets of astrojaxin'. >>> 10/08/2002 THE RHYTHM OF ASTROJAX AT STREETPARADE 2002 On Saturday, Aug. 10th 2002, the legendary Streetparade took place in Zurich again - The biggest techno event in Europe, if not the world, with half a million people of all colours dancing to the beat of techno and house music.
