The 1st Times Square AJ Jam vs. The Blizzard of 2006
The biggest storm in New York’s recorded history hit the day of the 1st Times Square AJ Jam. Larry Shaw, Jim (ajcol), Jason (iceman), aj package and website designer Alex, and Fabian (not that Fabian) jaxed for about an hour, but a number of players from the region who really wanted to make it weren’t able to get there. However, Times Square wasn’t empty and we got a whole lot of people playing with us. (How Alex was able to afford putting aj videos on the big screens in Times Square remains a mystery.)
Mother Nature will certainly be kinder next year … see you there!

Magicthomas' controlled chaos

Cool French AJ Commercial feat. daUFO
On Saturday February 7th a brand new Astrojax TV commercial was launched in France. The short clip was produced in Paris and features Eric daUFO. "Astrojax - quand tu l'as touché... t'es contaminé" -> "Astrojax - once you've touched it... you're hooked"

1'000'000 Hits on Dec. 25th!

As a little X-Mas present we are introducing a new VIDEO LIBRARY in our INFO section. You'll find a list with all the existing clips on this site as well as new exclusive astrojax videos from around the world. We start with the showtime clip, featuring Fabian, Jan, Toby and friends which was only available on the official learning CD Vol.1 so far. Welcome Malaysia!
Eric "daUFO" is touring Malaysia where Astrojax has been launched just recently. For 2 weeks he's traveling the country and demoing Astrojax together with the young Malaysian AJ Team. They had a lot fun partying at one of the coolest clubs in Kuala Lumpur showing off the new Saturn Blue Diamond edition. Check out the latest pics from Malaysia.

Fun&Action Camp 2003
Auch dieses Jahr war das von Active People organisierte Fun & Action Camp in Savognin ein Riesenerfolg.
40 Kids und 5 Lagerleiter übten und spielten Tag und Nacht. In den ersten 3 Tagen lernten und vertieften die Kids ihre Techniken in den Workshops Astrojax, Kiwido, Jonglage, Stab und Diabolo.
Danach bildeten wir je nach Wunsch Gruppen und feilten an den Choreographien für unsere Show am Freitag Abend. Obwohl wir eine Vielfalt an Koordinationsspielen dabei hatten, war Astrojax der grosse Renner.
Jeder wollte den Trick Check Ball gewinnen und der Pin Popper (das Werkzeug eines Jaxers) kam pausenlos zum Einsatz, weil natürlich alle ein exklusives, selber zusammengestelltes Astrojax haben wollten.
Es ist unglaublich, wie schnell eine Woche, in der eine solch gute Stimmung herrscht, vergeht. Alle freuten sich auf den grossen Auftritt, welcher mit
Herzblut, guten Choreographien und perfekt eingerichtetem Sound bestens über die Bühne ging. Die zahlreiche Zuschauer staunten nicht schlecht über das gesehene und applaudierten begeistert nach jedem Showakt.
Es war für alle ein Wahnsinnserlebnis, das wir nicht vergessen, sondern sicherlich wieder erleben wollen. Freut Euch auf die jungen, talentierten Newcomers, die jetzt schon ohne das Jaxen nicht mehr sein können. >>>

Astrojax Asia Tour
We are reporting "live" about Cécile, Toby and Fabian's trip to Asia.
They will travel from Korea to Thailand and then to Japan showing their astrojax skills at different events and hopefully planting the seeds for active local astrojax communities.

Welcome Thailand!
"Sanuk" stands for "having fun" and we're sure the kids in Thailand will have a lot of fun with Astrojax which was officially launched in September. There is already a great team of aj-Masters who will teach the beginners at several aj-Centers in Bangkok. Thank you and "Chok Dii" to the great team of Nichiworld.

Launch of LIVE CHAT postponed for a week
The launch of the LIVE CHAT has been postponed for week to Sunday, August 17th, 20.00 Zürich time.
Unfortunately we were not able to fix the problem in time and had to give up for today. The constant heat seems to have affected both us and our servers but it looks like we're on track now.

Updated WORLD Section!
Tonight we added a series of exciting new features to our WORLD Section.
The TOP 30 list with your favourite player profiles turned out to be a big success and illustrates the impressive variety of players and styles. To provide more room for the great player profiles we now have the TOP 100 list.

Wir haben erste Bilder von ihrem Aufenthalt in Kolumbien, wo sie unter anderem in einer Fernsehshow live auftraten. Die drei sind jetzt in Puerto Rico für weitere Shows und aj Parties und fliegen dann weiter nach New York. >>>

Design Auszeichnung für Astrojax
Die neue Astrojax Jewel Box, entworfen vom Schweizer Designer Alex Hochstrasser, erhält eine Honorable Mention Auszeichnung in der wichtigen Annual Design Review von I.D. Magazine. Die Juroren loben vorallem die gelungene Verbindung von Verpackung und Marke von Astrojax.

aj WORLD CHALLENGE feiert Premiere
Als erste Länder haben Deutschland und die Schweiz das aj-WORLD CHALLENGE Programm lanciert. Mit verschiedenen Events auf lokaler und nationaler Ebene, welche schliesslich in internationale Event im nächsten Jahr münden, haben aj Fans endlich die Möglichkeit sich mit Gleichgesinnten zu treffen, voneinander zu lernen, ihr Können zur Schau zu stellen und miteinander Spass zu haben.
Ein Sonderserie von aj-Bällen wurde speziell für diese Anlässe gestaltet. Als erstes finden landesweit aj-SESSIONS in ausgesuchten aj-PRO Stores statt.
Weitere Länder werden bald dazu stossen.

NEUES ASTROJAX FORUM/MEMBER BEREICH
Heute morgen haben wir ein grösseres Update der Astrojax Website vorgenommen. Unter anderem wurde das FORUM grundlegend überarbeitet. Ab sofort ist das Forum in verschiedene Themenbereiche aufgegliedert, was vertiefte Diskussionen zu Astrojax ermöglichen sollte. Als aj Member hat man freien Zugang zum Forum und erhält eine eigene Player Seite, wo man seinen aj-Style und seine Ideen zum Spiel präsentieren kann.
Weiter haben wir eine Länderauswahl eingeführt mit mehr lokalen Infos in der Zukunft. Und last but not least - astrojax.com gibts endlich auch auf deutsch :-)

Ein weiterer cooler Event fand in Zürich statt: FREESTYLE.CH war vom 27.-29. September das Zentrum der Snowboard, Skateboard, BMX und FMX Welt mit Wettkämpfen und Parties am Seeufer.
Der Astrojax Cube erregte ebenfalls viel aufsehen mit Eric "UFO" Bergmann und Jan, die die neusten Astrojax Tricks demonstierten. >>>

THE RHYTHM OF ASTROJAX AN DER STREETPARADE 2002
Am Samstag, 10. August 2002 rollte in Zürich wieder die legendäre Streetparade - der grösste Techno Event in Europa wenn ich sogar der ganzen Welt, mit über einer halben Million Menschen, die bunt und fröhlich zum Beat von Techno und House Musik tanzten. Ein Team unserer besten Spieler war dabei. Trotz heftigen Regens hatten alle einen Riesenspass. Schau dir das Video an mit Eindrücken vom der Parade. >>>
